Sheryl S. McClure, EA

Sheryl S. McClure, EA is the owner of Rock Solid Tax and Accounting LLC. As an Enrolled Agent, she is licensed by the U. S. Department of the Treasury to represent any taxpayer before the Internal Revenue Service. “Enrolled Agent” is the highest credential awarded by the IRS. Enrolled Agents must pass a rigorous three-part examination covering individual and business tax returns, must pass a background check, must adhere to ethical standards and complete at least 72 hours of continuing education every three years.   Once this elite status is earned, EA’s have unlimited practice rights before the IRS.

Originally from Kansas City, Sheryl was a small business owner before moving to Queen Creek in 2008. She has tremendous respect and appreciation for the work done by small business owners and the challenges that they face.   She has been providing tax preparation and accounting services to the East Valley since her move to Arizona and is thrilled to be a part of the growing Queen Creek community.

Sheryl served on the Board of Directors of the Arizona Chapter of the National Association of Tax Professionals from 2016 – 2021 and was President of the organization 2020-2021. She takes great pride in staying current with the ever-changing IRS and Arizona Department of Revenue rulings, and frequently takes in excess of 50 hours of continuing education every year.

Sheryl holds a Liberal Arts degree from the University of Kansas, and a Bachelor of Science in Business – Accounting degree from the University of Phoenix. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her horse, hiking the beautiful Superstition and San Tan Mountains and traveling throughout this beautiful country with her family.
